We like to think of ourselves as a modern bottega, combining technological production and craftsmanship. Our design, both internal and for third parties, is based on an approach that pays equal attention to the macro and micro scale, to the design context as well as to detail, and which, with an inductive method, develops its solutions from everyday needs and experiences. Three-dimensional printing with its potential and continuous evolution is our superpower.
We have been united by our curiosity and passion for research, which led to the creation of our design studio.

Daily life in our office would be a worthy script for the new season of The Office. Imagine: the nine of us, an army of 3D printers perpetually at work, a rambunctious Jack Russell and a greedy goldfish as the main protagonists. The setting is created by lots of plants (we love plants!), piles of books and magazines, strictly warm lighting otherwise we get nervous, and objects, materials, samples to study.

3D printing, our speciality
we are in constant exploratory research to find innovative and sustainable materials and achieve an ever more refined print finish. 3D printing is a production technique in its own right, versatile, adaptable to just-in-time requirements and with so much potential yet to be discovered.

Digital craftsmanship, the vision
it is a marriage of manual skill and intellect, of industry and workshop, production is by means of machines, but these are used in a spirit of craftsmanship. The imperfection, the uniqueness of the piece and the slowness of the process are values to be emphasised and compared with the standardisation, seriality and speed of the industrial production process. It is a new perspective within which to interpret the future of Italian manufacturing, still synonymous with excellence, quality and reliability everywhere.

Our projects
The project that with a thread, or rather a stroke, takes two Masters of Italian Architecture back to the beginning of their creative and design careers.
