READ HOW THE OPEN CALL WORKS
SUBMISSION
Sending a project allows EGOUNDESIGN solely to review and evaluate the submitted material. Submission does not automatically transfer the project or any related rights.
AUTHORSHIP
The person submitting the project declares that they are its author and are entitled to submit it without violating third-party rights or agreements.
SELECTION
EGOUNDESIGN reviews the submissions and directly contacts the designers of projects it wishes to develop further. Selection does not automatically guarantee production or commercialization.
AGREEMENT
Before development begins, the designer and EGOUNDESIGN will enter into a separate agreement. The agreement will define rights, exclusivity, duration, royalties and the terms of the collaboration.
DEVELOPMENT
EGOUNDESIGN funds and manages technical development and prototyping for selected projects. The project may evolve from the original proposal for technical, production or economic reasons.
PRODUCTION
Production will depend on the technical, manufacturing and economic feasibility verified during development.
THE DESIGNER
The designer will always be credited as the author of the project. The product and its communication will include the relevant designer credit as defined in the agreement.
ROYALTY
If the product is commercialized, the designer will receive royalties on sales. Percentage, calculation basis, reporting and payment terms will be defined in the agreement.
This information describes the general operation of the Open Call. Any relationship concerning selected projects will be governed by the agreement entered into between the parties.
